The site

The site is open to anyone to browse around, read the articles and view previews of the cards. To be able to send cards you must become a member or Canine Cards. You can become a member for either one or two years. First you will be asked to complete an online membership form. You can then join Canine Cards by either sending your membership fee via Pay Pal or by cheque to the address on the “Become a Member” page.

• If you choose to join by paying through Pay Pal you will move to a Pay Pal secure payment screen. Following receipt of your membership fee you will receive a confirmation email from Pay Pal as well as a “welcome” email from Canine Cards which will provide you with you with your username and password to enable you to access the “Members Area”.
  
• If you choose to pay by cheque you will move to a screen which provides a form for you to print off, attach to your cheque and post to the address indicated. Your details will be kept in the content management system and when your cheque is received, Canine Cards will activate your membership. A welcome message from Canine Cards will then be sent which will provide you with you with your username and password to enable you to access the “Members Area”.

The prices displayed on the website are in GBP, USD, CAND, AUSD and Euros

The prices were set on 05.05.2006 based on exchange rates at that time.  The site will be updated on a quarterly basis to take into account any changes to exchange rates

Copyright, trademarks and intellectual property

Canine Cards holds the intellectual property rights in the website, and its contents.

All content included on this site including website design, text, graphics, animations, audio clips, music, visual clips, logos etc are the property of Canine Cards and are protected by UK and international copyright laws.

You may view, copy and print portions of the Canine Card website in unaltered form for your own personal use and for the purpose of becoming a member of the site and sending animated greeting cards.  You must not collect or retrieve data from this website to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, compilation or database, or, copy, re-transmit, distribute or commercialise any material, or information on this website without prior written permission from Canine Cards.

Commercial use

Commercial use of the Canine Card website is not permitted. This is in order to avoid any risk of our e-cards being viewed as unsolicited commercial email, or "spam", and reported as such to service providers or blacklist operators who may then block our mail.

If you are planning to send a large number of cards from our site, please note that we have a variety of controls built into our software to prevent spamming.

Our responsibility

Canine Cards is responsible for keeping the website up to date, providing e-cards for use by members and for ensuring that all information under our control is accurate.

Canine Cards will contain links to other websites which are not under our control and are not maintained by us. These links are provided for your convenience only and we are not responsible for the content of those sites.
