Privacy
Personal information is private so we (Canine Cards) are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use the information which we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
Canine Cards is registered under the Data Protection Act and complies with their standards
We collect information about you for two reasons:
1. To process your membership
2. Provide you with the best possible on-going service.
The type of information we will collect about you includes your name, address, email, Country and telephone number. This information will never be shared with a third party. Once you have joined Canine Cards, you can update your personal details at any time in the members area.
Your payment details will be collected via Pay Pal. Pay Pal automatically encrypts your confidential information at the highest level commercially available.
Passwords
Passwords are encrypted at creation. Nobody will ever know the password except the creator. Validating that a password is correct requires the newly entered password to be encrypted too, and then a comparison of the two encrypted passwords decides if they are valid.
You can rest assured that your personal data and credit/debit card details are safe with us.
Newsletter
With your permission we will send you a regular newsletter (quarterly) plus announcements when new cards have been issued. You can opt out of receiving the newsletter at any time by emailing info@caninecards.co.uk.
We will never disclose your details to any third party or transfer it anywhere.
Your Address Book
As a member of Canine Cards you can store up to 100 names and emails in your address book. These contact details will remain private to you. We will never produce a mailing list of your address book contacts and we will never contact the people on your address book list.
