Canine Cards is now offering advertising opportunities.

Site information (Google Analytics)

The site was launched on 15 July 2006 and – in our first year – we have attracted over 37,000 individual visitors.

The Christmas 2008 period saw visitor numbers of over 9,500 with over 75% being new visitors to the site.

Visitors have been attracted to the site from all over the world.

• 43% arrive at the site via a variety of search engines where they are searching for dog related sites and particularly sites with dog cards, dog gifts etc. Canine Cards is continuing to rank higher up all the major search engines e.g. Google, Yahoo, MSN
  
  
• 30% arrive via referring sites and Canine Cards has built an extensive range of links to other dog related sites so this area will continue to grow
  
  
• 27% arrive at the site directly – mainly due to an extensive flyer campaign with flyers being distributed at a range of dog shows – obedience and agility – throughout the UK.

On average visitors visit about five pages per visit – mostly the card pages.

1. Your advert on the Home Page and each of pages in The Cards

Adverts will be placed on the left or right sidebars of the Home Page and all other pages including the important "The Cards" page – please see the site for an example www.caninecards.co.uk

£75 (plus VAT) for one year 

2. Interested in sponsoring a new card ??

• Your company logo will be added to the credits on the card page so will be seen by all those who view the previews.
• Your company logo will appear on the card before the animation starts so your logo will be seen when a card is received.
• We can arrange a mailshot of your card if required to your own mailing list

Price - a one off cost

Scruffs and Buddy cartoon cards £100 (plus VAT) per card
Meg and Jazz cards £300 (plus VAT) per card
Agility cards (with Copper and Tizzy) £300 (plus VAT) per card

3. Mailshots

• Pick a card
• Provide us with your special message
• Provide us with your email list and logo and ------
• Leave the rest to us – it is that easy
• We will send an email message to all those on your email list on the date specified.
• We can customise the email message and can add your company logo if required
• The email message will provide a card link
• When friends/family/customers click on the link they will receive your chosen card and special message.
  

For Christmas 2006 we sent a mailshot for Ann Croft and Jenny Roberts of Dog Friendly Britain (www.dogfriendlybritain.co.uk) - here is what Ann and Jenny said:-

“What lovely, entertaining cards so much better than the old fashioned snail-mail variety - and you don't even need to go out to the shops! We sent them to all our dog-loving contacts last Christmas. It's an inexpensive - and very eco-friendly - way to keep in touch with all those people who are important to you."

Price

Up to 100 mail/cards sent = £ 50 (plus VAT)
Over 101 up to 250 mail/cards sent = £ 75 (plus VAT)
Over 251 up to 1000 mail/cards sent = £100 (plus VAT)

Please note:-

• This is not intended for mass mailshots.
  
• If the mailshot is to your customers then we must receive confirmation from you that they have agreed to contact from your company.
  
• Canine Cards is registered under the Data Protection Act and guarantee that any email lists you provide will not be used for any purpose other than the mailshot.
  

Logo size and technical information

When supplying your logo can you ensure that the dimensions adhere to specified height and width restrictions.

• Height: no smaller than 80pixels and no bigger than 150 pixels
• Width: no greater than 140pixels

For the advert and mailshot we also require that you provide your logo/advert in either of the following image formats;

• Jpeg
• Gif

For the card sponsorship we need your logo in the following format
